In addition, patients can access routine pre-booked evening (6.30 to 8pm) and Saturday morning appointments with one of the Ashfield North Network practices (Woodlands. Willowbrook, Brierley Park, Skegby Family Medical Centre or Kings Medical).  Please speak to the Woodlands receptionist team to book an appointment.

The Extended GP access service is now also accessible 7 days per week. If you require an appointment on a Sunday or Bank Holiday, this will be available at a practice in the wider Ashfield and Mansfield area.   Please arrange your appointment with the Woodlands reception team.

The surgery telephone line is open for emergency contact between 08:00 and 08:30 and again between 18:00 and 18:30

Training Closures

All Mansfield & Ashfield practices are closed on one Wednesday afternoon of each month for education provided by Mansfield & Ashfield Clinical Commissioning Group (apart from August and December).    This generally occurs on the fourth Wednesday of the month, but dates can be affected during bank holiday weeks.    The remaining closure dates for 2019 are as follows:-

November 27th   

December - no event

and  2020 dates agreed so far :-

January 22nd

February 26th   and 

March 25th 

On these dates the surgery will be closed from 12:00 and if you try to call the surgery you will be informed to ring 111 as an alternative.
